Free
  • This event has passed.
What does research tell us about how best to support children and young people with their worries at this time.

This webinar is for those supporting children and young people (e.g.: parents, peer supporters, practitioners, researchers, youth workers etc).

The aim of the webinar is to provide a friendly forum to address your concerns and share tips and advice informed by research and evidence for supporting children and young people through this period of uncertainty and worry.

We will be guided by what is on your mind so let us know the questions and topics you’d like us to focus on when you book.

The Emerging Minds network is collaborating with Psychologists from the University of Reading’s AnDY Research Clinic and the University of Oxford’s TOPIC Research Group. Our speakers include: Professor Cathy CreswellDr Polly Waite and Professor Helen Dodd

Emerging Minds is a mental health research network funded by UK Research & Innovation (UKRI) with the aim of encouraging research across sectors and disciplines. We want to reduce the prevalence of mental health problems amongst children and young people through mental health promotion, prevention and early treatment

Spaces on this webinar are limited but we will also record a podcast version to share online.

When you register you will be sent joining instructions to enable you to call in to the webinar by phone or using an internet connected device.

Please do contact Emily Lloyd at info@emergingminds.org.uk if you have any questions or to find out more.
