Up to £50K is available from the Loneliness and Social Isolation in Mental Health network as part of their second funding call on interventions. Deadline: 5pm on 2nd October.
Grants are available for £15K and £50K for small or large projects respectively, provided at 80% of full economic costing.
This call invites research that aims to understand:
- What interventions/specific activities reduce loneliness and social isolation in the general population, and whether these interventions/specific activities also reduce the risk of the onset of mental health problems, and/or
- What interventions/specific activities reduce loneliness and social isolation in individuals with existing mental health problems.
Applicants must demonstrate that their proposed project would integrate multiple disciplines and relevant lived experience perspectives. Collaborations involving the third sector and projects led by Early Career Researchers are also strongly encouraged.
