Consultation Survey: Covid-19 response to “off-radar” children and young people trapped at home and at risk of violence and abuse

Due to concerns about the impact of Covid-19 containment measures on “off-radar” children and young people trapped at home and at risk of violence and abuse, Survivors’ Voices (a national survivor-led peer organisation), the Violence, Abuse and Mental Health Nework and the McPin foundation have launched an anonymous online survey.  Gathering the ideas and wisdom of people with lived experience of such abuse will enable concrete actions to urgently help these children and young people.

The anonymous online survey (including links to advice and support organisations) is aimed at adults who can identify with experiencing violence and abuse at home and no helping agency knowing about it for long periods (or ever).

The survey will close at 10pm on Wednesday 1st April. The findings will synthesised into a report proposing concrete actions to government, charities, media organisations, and to the community by 6th April 2020.
